Air sampling capacity increased

The Volatiles in Air Department recently increased their sample capacity by 40 percent through the purchase of new Summa canisters and flow controllers. To reduce the risk of contamination, the new units meet the “hard seat” criteria established by New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Certified clean Summa canisters in two sizes (1 liter and 6 liter) are provided to meet sampling needs. Soil vapor intrusion and ambient air testing are available using a variety of methods, including:

Air sampling

  • PAHs by TO13/13A
  • VOCs and Hydocarbon Ranges by GC
  • Fixed Gases (CO2/O2)
