The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) has awarded Lancaster Laboratories, recognizing the Lab as the first to become accredited by A2LA and maintain accreditation for 30 consecutive years. A2LA president Pete Unger presented Lancaster Labs’ president Dr. Wilson Hershey with the award on October 29. A2LA wrote in a press release:
Achieving this milestone is a testament to the importance the laboratory owners and staff place on quality, competence and producing reliable data for their clients. “Sustaining this level of quality and service for such a long time is no easy feat. Everyone at Lancaster Laboratories should be very proud,” said Pete Unger, President of A2LA.
